Baby Baby Baby

I had some minor outpatient surgery yesterday so, today, I'm recuperating. Jeez! The recovery is worse than the freakin' procedure! It's nothing particularly serious so the blog is in no imminent danger of becoming collateral damage due to my "gettin' old" syndromes and maladies. But, I'll admit, I'm not up for writing a real update at the moment.

Anyway...

A friend sent me some YouTube videos and I thought I'd share. Now I know why so many shooters want to go to Paris. The models are bee-you-tee-full and, apparently, up for almost anything, naked-in-front-of-a-camera-wise. (Gotta love that!)

The first one has great eye candy. The second one is for laughs. And the third one is for even bigger laughs. IMO, #3 has hotter chicks than those in #1. But maybe that's just me? I'm also thinking #3 wasn't shot in Gay Paree! Looks more like in or around L.A.

Great post. I've seen the first video before, it's good to watch it again. That third one is hilarious.

The third one is the promenade in Santa Monica (notice the big blue bus). Nice to see the LA ladies compete so well with the French femme.

I hope you get back in the groove and feel better soon.

I enjoy your writing as much as the photos.

I was wondering...

A while back you talked about doing some more 'standard' editorial photo work.

How's that going?

I do most of my work in the editorial arena for a couple of companies.

You most often have almost no control over most of the photo factors, but it is rewarding when it works.

If you are ever in the Dayton, Ohio area let me know and perhaps we could tag team an assignment.

@Peter Wine,

Haven't had much success shooting editorial. Leastwise, getting paid to shoot editorial. For some reason, the loss of control shooting editorial doesn't bother my like the loss of control shooting events (weddings, etc.) does.

If I find myself in Dayton, I'll give you a shout! Thanks!

This is so hilarious. I'm still wondering for which artistic reasons they flipped the first video horizontally though.
